Police Director of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior, Mr Darko Culum, paid a visit to the Police Administration Trebinje on August 31, 2017.

Police Director placed wreaths at the memorial made in the honour and for the remembrance of all who gave their life for the Republic of Srpska.

In a short media statement, he said that the crime rate has decreased by 0.5% in the first eight months of the year on the territory of the Police Administration Trebinje, and that there were not any severe criminal offences that might cause insecurity and fear of the citizens.

When asked how he would evaluate the work of the Police Administration Trebinje, the Director stated that this Police Administration operates successfully, as it can be seen in the statistical data.

Also, Director Ćulum has responded to numerous questions of the journalists, mainly regarding forest fires in East Herzegovina, arrests in the municipality of Gacko and increased number of individuals who were caught in illegal transfer of the border.
