As a member of Republic of Srpska delegation, Slaven Rosić from Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior is attending in Brussels a two-day meeting of the Subcommittee for Justice, Freedom and Security between European Union and BiH.
The members are discussing progress of BiH in the past year in fulfillment of obligations arising from Stabilization and Association Agreement in areas of functioning of judiciary, judicial cooperation in civil and criminal affairs, fight against money laundering, implementation of the War Crimes Strategy, fight against corruption and organised crime, cooperation in law enforcement, cooperation in fight against drug abuse, counterterrorism, border management, visa liberalisation, fundamental rights, prohibition of discrimination, female rights, gender equality, free legal assistance, freedom of speech, etc.
In addition to the members of RS MoI, delegation of the Republic of Srpska consists of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, Ministry of Justice, Centre for Providing Free Legal Assistance, Gender Centre, Centre for Gender Equality of Government of Republic of Srpska and Commission for Investigation of Conflict of Interest in Republic of Srpska Authorities.
Subcommittee for Justice, Freedom and Security between the EU and BiH is one of joint working bodies of EU and BiH established to monitor implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between EU and BiH after it entered into the force on June 1, 2015.
