The commander of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Saša Japundža, met today with Dubai Police Director, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, host of the international competition of special units UAE SWAT Challenge.

The members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participate for the first time in the prestigious contest of special units "UAE SWAT Challenge" that is held in Dubai in the period from 1 to 5 February, with more than 120 special unit teams from 48 countries.

700 CRIMINAL OFFENCES LESS IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS IN SRPSKA
‘There was almost 700 criminal offences less in the Republic of Srpska during the last five-year period compared to the previous one. It is important to note that the total rate of solved criminal offences is higher than 91%, which is one of the best and most relevant indicators of the results of the Ministry’s work’, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan said after the Extended staff meeting of the Minister of the Interior held today, in Zvornik.
