INVITATION FOR THE WOMEN POLICE OFFICERS’ NETWORK OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR TO BECOME A PART OF THE EUROPEAN NETWORK OF POLICEWOMEN

The Women Police Officers’ Network of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior has accepted the invitation of the European Network of Policewomen (ENP) to become a member of this European association whose aim is improving the position of women in the police.
Yesterday, in Barcelona, the President of ENP, Ms Pina Montserrat, organised a meeting with the management of the Women Police Officers’ Network of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, where the activities of the Network both at domestic and international level in the last ten years were presented.
‘Since the Women Police Officers’ Network has been recognised by the United Nations, and with its status of the most active and influential association of women police officers in the world, we believe that this cooperation will be a unique experience and that it will bring new knowledge and fresh perspectives for all of us’, the President of Women Police Officers’ Network of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Ms Sanja Sumonja said.
The President of the Assembly of this association, Ms Željka Mileusnić, pointed out that the membership of the Network in the European Network of Policewomen would enable institutional strengthening and influence at international level through the promotion of values and capacities of the association and its members.
